Office Administrator

Are you a detail-oriented professional with a passion for organization and efficiency? We are seeking an experienced Office Administrator to join our team! This role offers flexibility, a supportive work environment, and the opportunity to showcase your expertise.

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 5 years’ experience as a bookkeeper.
  • Expertise with standard accounting software; preference for Sage ERP experience.
  • Strong proficiency in creating, formatting, and maintaining Excel spreadsheets.
  • Ability to make independent decisions within established policies and regulations.
  • Quick learner of new software packages and systems.
  • Retail sector experience is considered an asset.
  • Working knowledge of retail Point of Sale systems such as Auto-Star or MMS is a plus.
  • Familiarity with accrual accounting.
  • Responsive to feedback and adaptable to changing circumstances.

Financial Controller

Job Responsibilities

  • Bookkeeping
  • Process invoices and bills and prepare checks for signature.
  • Perform Visa and bank reconciliations, as well as month-end reconciliations.
  • Audit daily, weekly, and monthly cash deposits and reconciliations.
  • Provide flexibility for scheduling during year-end tasks.
    Office Management
  • Perform filing and receptionist duties as assigned.
  • Maintain and update filing systems.
  • Provide cash backup support for stores during vacations.
    Other Duties
    Additional responsibilities may arise as the role evolves over time.
